The wine is made from the mencía variety, grown in the best plots of the winery in the subarea of Condado do Tea.

This wine has been exclusively vinified with the variety sousón (also called retinto) from our best vineyards.

This wine is the result of a great vintage (2018) for the vinification of red wines in our winery. That summer was hotter and drier than usual and, as result, the six varieties composing this coupage (brancellao, caíño, espadeiro, mencía, pedral and sousón) had an extraordinary ripening.
